Much better then the new ones

For one thing Euro war 2 is much simpler then Euro 3. Troops move one tile, theirs only one resource not two, and the dice actualy matter! (Though sometimes theyre weighted. Panzers Im looking at you)
Also some countries are almost unplayable, dont have special abilities and/or dont have unique unit designs (in reality Turkey and Norway dont have soldiers who look exactly the same)
However despite these shortcomings Euro war is still a fun and engaging test of minds with a steep learning curve which I play ofton
